The RPM FRICTION PRO 16MM Hybrid Flat Top V2 – James Ignatowich Signature is a high-performance pickleball paddle designed for aggressive, high-speed, and professional players. This is James Ignatowich's Signature version – a professional pickleball player ranked in the world's top 10, refined to maximize power, pop, maneuverability, and spin in modern play.

Part of the RPM Friction Pro line, the paddle was co-designed and engineered by James Ignatowich, with a clear focus on high-level competition and advanced players. RPM LABS has combined three core technologies—CarbonBite Surface, DwellZone Sweet-Spot, and Tri-Density Core—to create a paddle with revolutionary performance.

Hybrid Flat Top 16MM – Maximum Control, Superior Stability

The Hybrid Flat Top design combines the extended reach of an Elongated paddle with the fast hands of a Hybrid—extremely effective for high balls, attacking volleys, and singles play. With a 16MM core thickness, the James Ignatowich Signature version offers:

• Superior control and enhanced stability
• Longer dwell time, clear ball feel
• Light, agile swing feel
• Fast reflexes in high-speed exchanges

This paddle is designed for players who prioritize an active attacking style, enjoy dominating the game with drives, topspin, and smashes, and demand exceptional agility and hand speed.

James Ignatowich's Competition Choice

The 16MM Hybrid Flat Top V2 is the exact paddle James Ignatowich uses in competition, with his comment:

“This model is for the aggressive player that wants to play to their strengths.”

RPM FRICTION PRO Core Technologies

• CarbonBite Carbon Fiber Surface – Unparalleled Spin
A carbon fiber surface with an optimized coefficient of friction, providing extremely high spin generation, true to the RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) philosophy.
• DwellZone Sweet-Spot Technology
Refined internal structure to increase ball dwell time, enlarge the sweet spot, and provide a smooth, controllable feel even with high power.
• Tri-Density Core Technology – “The Difference”
The paddle core consists of three layers of materials with different densities, enhancing stability closer to the edge of the paddle and generating explosive energy with every swing.
